Official DVD Summary[]

"Alice is jealous when Jay is courted by Jeremy's beautiful sister, and Jay finds himself in the unusual position of having to choose between two women."

Plot[]

At a taping of the sketch comedy show Yesterday Night Live (which is hosted by Jeremy), Jay meets Jeremy's sister, Olivia-Newton. Jay shows Olivia around New York and she soon starts to develop romantic feelings for Jay.

Unbeknownst to Jay, Alice starts to feel jealous about the amount of time that Jay and Olivia are spending together, and she doesn't hide it when Jay brings Olivia to work. One day, Jeremy shows up at Jay's apartment, only to find out that Olivia is there with him. Jeremy refuses to let Olivia hurt Jay's feelings, stating that she has such a history with other men. Olivia later tells Jay about every man that she's been with before she met him. Jay and Olivia begin a relationship.

Meanwhile, Alice begins to fret over her relationship with Jay, questioning if she really loves him. Taking Penny's advice, she closes her eyes and listens to the voice inside of her head---Jay's voice, that is. Alice realizes that she's in love in Jay and decides to tell him herself.

When she goes to do so, however, she finds Jay in his office with Olivia, who has already told Jay that she loves him. Alice gives Jay the same remark, and Jay is now torn between on which woman's feelings he should recproicate.

Jay explains the situation to Franklin, who recounts a similar situation that he had with Eleanor (in a Popeye-esque flashback). He tells Jay to close his eyes and listen to the voices in his head. After listening to the other voices in his head, he soon hears Alice's voice. Jay realizes that he's in love with Alice, and he breaks things off with Olivia (who quickly finds a new man).

Jay runs into Alice at the movie theater and tells her that he loves her. He then recites a poem (after initially singing Superfreak) and the two of them kiss.
